Update: went ahead and figured the complex would take its sweet time on answering me (and doubt they take liability of it) since the only communication is email with the offices not open for outsiders. Went ahead with some rubbing/polishing compound and well it’s not terrible still pissed but could be worse

You did a great job cleaning that up. Did you hit it with a machine (DA Polisher, not orbital)? If you haven't, if you do get a DA I bet it would knock even more out of the damage.

I was going to comment on this yesterday but got caught up. Looks great. Most of that was paint transfer as I suspected.

I would be very cautious attempting to chase those out with a machine if you’re not that experienced. You’re hammering a couple leading edges where the paint is significantly thinner.

It appears like those may lighten up but not come out 100%. To be done right and safely, would really require wet sanding. But I don’t recommend that approach if you’re not experienced.

It was all by hand, my next step is to take it and see what a detailer can do. Since it’s brand new I’d rather not risk it and pay to have it done the right way.

Not at all haha my brother was a plane detailer so I have a decent knowledge of the basics for detailing but nothing major, will be getting a professional detailer to see what they can do next.

I didn't know what I was doing until I just jumped on it and learned. (And read a lot on the internet!) I bought a DA from Harbor Freight and turned my Mustang into a show car!

I think of this as more of a what did you do WITH your Ranger today thread.

Today I hauled a bunch of crap out to our cabin on the lake, and picked my boat up from the mechanic so I could move it over to where we store it. The tailgate proved to be an awesome work bench as I did stuff to get the boat ready for the water. Hopefully this weekend I'll be launching the boat for the first time this season!

The Ranger handled towing the boat without any issues. I was pretty happy with it!

Installed my Raptor grill and door bowl cover!!!

Removing the oem grill was pain in the ass. I ended up breaking the two side clips as i dont care anymore just want the raptor grillto be installed haha. And heads up, wear gloves if you are installing this, my knuckles are pretty bad right now because of the side clips.
