I really wanted to stay away from a revolver for her with the long trigger pull vs the single action on the LCPII.
A tiny 9mm maybe to snappy for her. Plus the slide issue. So the LCPII 380 it is.

I read reviews stating the LCPII slide racking was much easier than other small 380's. I watched many videos and a couple mentioned the easier slide and this one below at 2:00 minutes in state the slide is easy to rack. I like the trigger safety for her too.
The reviews on the LCPII are very good. So much better than the first LCP, So I bit and bought one with a built in laser for $352 from GrabAGun.
My wife can't rack my P365 . No arthritis too. :) Pitiful.

My wife has a problem racking my P365 and my Shield. The 2 weapons she carries is the P938 and the Glock 43. Both she can rack easily. If your looking for a 380, the P238 and Glock 42 are something to think about.

Like Dave said, take her to a gun local gun store to have her try out the different pocket carries. Find one that fits her hand and she can rack easily. That will be the only way to truly find one for her.

We wanted small . She has an M&P Shield 380 EZ but she wants something smaller to pocket and appendix carry more comfortably.

The 928 and 43 are too big. The 228 is big, really expensive and more than that, I don't like the hammer cocked even with safety carry for her. We prefer the trigger safety on the Ruger. The 42 is about an inch longer than the LCPII. The LCPII is only 5.17" In length and 3.71" in height. I did just buy some extra round to 7 Ruger Mags on Ebay adding a bit more height for her pinky. It will be snappy but she doesn't mind.

51 weeks later the tax stamp for suppressor number 4 finally came in today. Rugged Obsidian 9 which is a modular can and can be configured full length at 7.8" or short at 4.8". My Omega 9K can is dedicated for my CZ Scorpion and this one will go between my pistol carbines in 9mm.

Just got in and received an email notification from Targetsports that the Wolf 223 was back in stock. Once in stock it shows 99+ cases in stock on their site. The email was at 10:50 am and right now at 11:20 am they've already sold 70 cases in 30 minutes! I grabbed 1.5 cases so with what I have already I should be good for a while....maybe a week lol ?

If anyone is looking for ammo one of the best places I've seen is from Academy.com,they've kept their prices very reasonable and haven't been price gouging like some others have. Their home delivery sells out quick (must be direct from the warehouse) but if you live close by one of their stores it looks like they have plenty in stock. The 9mm seems to be averaging 0.19 -0 .20 a round where i've seen it as high as .30 from Palmetto State Armory. Hopefully this settles down after the election.

Only available in store right now:

Nice!
You got to be quick. I've hit it right a few times but twice I went right to Target's site immediately after a notification and lost out as they sold out immediately.

You're right you have to be fast and in the right place at the right time. It's a game just like trying to find toilet paper...lol TP I can do without,I'll use an old shirt but no way I'm going without ammo.

Let us know how the LCPII is once it comes in.

It's weird. It's will be the wife's pistol but due to its size I'll grab it now and then to carry. So I'm pretty excited to see what it's all about.
Just got two extra round 7 plus one Ruger LCP 2 mags from an Amazon Seller. $55 for two which isn't bad compared to the Ruger site $40 each.

Rugers site is usually a lot higher. When I bought my extra mags for my MKIV I found a 2 pack online cheaper than Ruger was selling 1 for. That's pretty common with most things though even Fords products can usually be found much cheaper 3rd party than through the dealer.

You know you'll probably be buying yourself one of those LCP2's if you end up liking it. Otherwise your wife will be hunting you down for it. lol :bandit:

I just came across this video on Youtube on how they make 22 ammo. After watching it it's amazing how cheap 22's are. I've bought it (not CCI) on Black Friday sales for as low as 2.5 cents a round. Wait 'till you see the stack of lead they have and he says it will all be used up today.

I think I still have more stored up then that pallet at the end. lol:giggle:

That was cool. My nephew worked in that plant until about a year and half ago. Got to drive by it, never got to go in.

I predict the next pandemic will be unintended lead poisoning by the new hoards of liberal panic gun buyers who learned gun safety from Hollywood...if they can survive the wait period ?
It’s very scary to see all these new gun owners, yet most have never picked up, fired, and been properly trained on using a gun!!!
Most of these people last year most likely wanted limits, stricter gun laws and even our rights to own guns taken away!!! My my how things change.

I'm hoping that now that they see that they've been LIED to all these years they'll change their tune about gun control. They're also seeing a total collapse of local government in many areas and are now realizing YOU are responsible for protecting yourself and your family and the police won't be there when you need them most.

I'm guessing some will get training, some will eventually sell them (so there might be some good deals out there next year) and unfortunately some will do some very dumb things and someone will end up getting hurt. The good news is there should be a lot more PRO 2A voters out there come November! :like:

That would've been awesome to have taken a tour while he was still there. I would've needed a bib from drooling all through it. lol That would be a fun job for a while depending on what you're doing there. Some of those jobs look so boring, can you imagine checking casings all day long?

Yah, I wish I'd gotten the chance to tour. And I agree, some of those jobs were too monotonous...I'd have quit on day 2  Nephew was running one of the milling machines (if I remember correctly). He's now going to school to be an accountant...not sure that's any less exciting - don't let my wife see this :giggle:
