Hi Folks,

I was going to back the Ranger and the MKX out of the garage to scrub the floor only to receive a phone call that my neighbor passed away from the virus. So the Ranger remained in the garage as I had no inclination to follow through on garage cleaning.... Please...folks Take this virus seriously.

This hit close to home.

Stay safe and healthy,

Sorry to hear that Phil. Stay safe!

A guy I work with knew the first casualty in Oregon. That one hit kind of close to home as well. We are approaching almost a half a million people now. It seems to be slowing slightly, but that is still a lot of people infected.

Sorry about your neighbor, Phil. This is very serious. I was happy to see an 86y/o get better from CV and go home this week. So there Is some good news out there. Ya'll stay safe!

Added a factory NAV unit. Bought a used unit and then reconfigured it with Forscan.

Could not accept the $1K pricentag for a pre-configured unit, did not trust the $500 ones out of China to be anything but junk clones.

$300 used, a bit of research and then time with Forscan. Yea, maps are old, NA114 but plenty of paths to update to current.

Nothing too exciting here today, just a quick wash and modified a smoked license plate cover to put on the front.

Yesterday I re purposed a Sto-n-Sho from my Charger. The ADD bumper has no way to mount a front plate and in TX it's required. It's a little after market looking when it's removed if you look closely at the bracket, but it will work. Easily removable if I need to access the winch or use the D-ring.

Ive been buying stuff online from North Florida Lincoln Ford.
These letters were $41.00 shipped. Seems to have good prices, better than Ebay on oem parts.

Again I'm a little behind on the days, but recently did the offroad radio install so I have a more powerful unit than the handhelds we've used in the past. Dash removed to run power wires thru the firewall, then antenna wires under the floor mats and out. Super clean/easy, works beautifully, doesn't get in the way of passenger legroom.

Then put the prototype leafs, hardware, etc on the truck and did a little testing. So much more testing to come, but it's a whole new truck already.

Is that the same thing as a CB radio? Just curious!
