Anyone have this happen to them with the Ford app.
bought my kid a Ranger. And someone requested access to the truck.
my only guess is he posted on social media. Someone got the app and located the dealer via location services. Found the truck on the website and got the vin off of that. He declined access by the way. LOL

I wonder how many would just click on it without really paying attention to what they are agreeing to.

The person who did this probably hits multiple new users hoping one will Accept, and maybe has already had success in the past.

Even if they can't drive it, having location and door unlocking provides ample opportunity to get at the possible goodies in the truck.

So sad that he's been hacked. My Ford Pass is acting up now too. It keeps telling me to upgrade to new app but won't let me.
