I finished about all I'm gonna do with my Lariat. Because I liked the look posted on the forums, I talked the dealer into throwing in the tailgate applique. I thought the raised letters added to the whole 3D look. I chose red outline to go with the FX4 decal. For the front grill, I put a more darker red to match out the other part of the logo.

Added AVS hood protector and low profile sides. Gater hard folding top and stubby antenna installed. Last piece will be the tailgate damper.

Great pictures and trolling these forums leads me to be an old happy camper personalizing my new Lariat. Thanks to the forum!

Hi Folks,

Not my Ranger but my buddy's 1965 Chrysler Newport...huge old boat. Corroded left front turn signal housing and corroded burned out 1157 bulb. Took me several days but returned it today, installed and fully functional... :)

Best,

Received my dash carpet today from coverking. It’s a good fit but I don’t like the cover over the Ranger lettering. Oh well, I’ll roll with it for the time being.

The other day, I got my husky liners for the front, which I love. Great product. Need to get some for the rear as well.

Not today (Saturday) but I took the truck out for some fun in Afton Canyon/Mojave. Mud and salt mush up to the axles, water crossings halfway up the doors (no water intrusion), 80+mph trails, and 1 oh sh*t moment hitting a probably 20-22inch whoop I didnt see at 40ish and launching the rear end in the air because the leafs are the weak point in the suspension and my redesigned ones aren't done yet. Dont try this at home, mine is nowhere near stock anymore, but I had no issues all day and over 100 miles off road at speed. I love this truck. So much.

I put one side of my truck back together with the new Eibach strut after work tonight. Hopefully the other side tomorrow night and the rears on Wednesday!

It's thankfully not a problem (but I would try to avoid it in the future anyway) because if you look under the hood, the air intake hose is actually way up at the top near the hood so if you keep it below that point and enter the water slowly so the water doesn't create a bow wave and come over the hood, you're all good.

Ugh, I ordered one and still waiting. I didn't realize it had that. Don't like. Might have to cut off and see if my wife can sew a edge.

8+hrs yesterday and today - did a ceramic coating on Maggie.
Wash, clay, polish, IPA wipe, then ceramic. This was my first time doing ceramic and hopefully Its on there - used all of a 30ml bottle.
It sure seemed like I should have been putting it on heavier but maybe less is better (?). I did a section at a time and waited 4 minutes to wipe (60 degrees in the garage) - when wiping there was initially quite a drag on the microfiber and after a few wipes the drag went away.....hope this is/was right. Guess I’ll know more when I wet it down in a couple days.

Installed Dura Dressing on tires yesterday. Took an hour or so due to the process. Now just got to see if it lasts like the manufacturer says it does. Much nicer than Armorall and such which only lasts a few days.
