I asked in some of the other threads about the trifecta but didn't get a follow up. I'm having major leaking from the bulkhead area with those very large spaces on each side of the "bar" they included. I've included a pic of the space. How have other solved this issue?

I currently have a the tonneau centered nicely, and a tailgate seal installed. I tested with a water hose (and storms/tissue paper) and i'm getting significant leakage from only the bulkhead now. I tried stuffing large foam pieces in, using adhesive tape/rubber, and still getting major leaks.

Exact same problem with the Gator whatever model. It looks to have the exact same bar that I could not get to fit across the factory drop in liner.

I ended up cutting a piece of treated 5/4 board that fit 100% of the way across and sealed it with 3M grey tape. It works, I barely get a drop of water in even on heavy rains. You can't see it unless you're really looking, but if I had to do it again I'd buy a piece of grey composite decking and spray it black with Krylon plastic spray paint.

EDIT:Gator guaranteed it, they said I could ship it back to them free of charge for a refund. I needed the cover that weekend so that wasn't an option. The "hack" cost me my warranty, but it was literally 180$ shipped to my door.

EDIT2: Looks like you are missing the big foamy sticky parts that came with my gator to plug the holes on the side.

I didn't get anything to plug those holes in my kit. I did use some foam and chunks of tape but no success. I currently have a chunk of foam from my tailgate seal and it has slowed the waters but it's not dry like my previous covers were.

The things on the end that I got were big chinks of high density foam rubber, basically you stick it to the end of the bulkhead and the clamps squeeze it down. I have a thread that shows my deck board "hack" somewhere. I'll search for Gator and post it if I can find it.

Yeah this just keeps getting worse. Nice puddle after the storm system that came through SC Monday and now another storm front coming. No response from Extang customer service.

Take it off, get some alcohol and 3m grey tape, cut a piece of composite or regular deck board and 3m stick it to the bulkhead. Use weather strip on the remaining corners. Did mine like that a year ago and it barely leaks at all.
