I don't have the tools to measure this, but what would the angle under the bulkhead bed rail be? Kind of annoying it isn't squared off. Wanting to place some bicycle mounts right behind the cab, and will need to get some angled washers more than likely.

Not sure what angle you’re trying to measure, but I have a magnetic digital angle finder that I could get it with but couldn’t do it until tomorrow evening!

Underneath this rail. The rail closest to the cab. The angle is like 35 to 45 degrees?

It stopped raining so I went outside to get that angle but the bulkhead of my Undercover tonneau covers that area just enough that my angle finder won’t fit in there. Sorry!

Thanks for the info, but I plan on keeping my bikes inside the frame of the truck. I also intend to put a hard rollup or folding cover over the bed and I want to place the bikes fork high, on that rail, so the bike rear tire can fit in the bed and also clear the cover when folded. I don't need a full modular rack system as i don't plan on "overlanding" or adding a ton of things to my truck.

I found a scrap piece of square tubing to space out the angle finder away from the tonneau so hopefully this is the info you’re looking for.

I first zeroed the gauge on one of the ribs of the front of the bed.

This is the angle I believe you’re looking for, the one right below the top of the front of the bed relative to that original rib of the bed.

Just because I found it interesting, this is the floor of the bed relative to that original rib... I was surprised that it wasn’t closer to 90 degrees.

I hope that helps!

63 degrees? Hmm ok. Thanks for being able to get this for me! I really appreciate it, and the work you had to go through to get this!

Also if your truck doesn't have a true level on the front, it will be raked forward. (The reason for the floor not being level I suppose)

It’s definitely 63 degrees as I zeroed the gauge on the front of the bed and the went directly up onto that angle. I didn’t check the bed floor to see if it was level, I was comparing it to the 0 degrees of the front of the bed. Hope that makes sense!

Hopefully this makes more sense, I didn’t realize until later that the pictures weren’t really clear as to where I was measuring!

That drawing helps alot! I just don't get why they just didn't square that edge. Thank you very much for this info! My mounts come in Friday, and it will give me time to acquire my materials. I'm using these fork locking MTB mounts...

No problem at all. I like those mounts, they look good and solid. Do they fit different diameters of axles? I still have my old Norco Six One with a 20mm axle and my new Sasquatch has a 15mm. Do they lock on so tight that the axle can’t be turned out?

Yep! Can fit 15mm or 20mm axles, and also 12mm. Different shim inserts(cost extra if not 15mm). Fits both 100mm or 110mm boost too. They are fancy, but $75 each.

Thanks for the info. A little too much for me, I don’t carry my bikes around enough to make it worth the cash. I’ll stick with my hitch mount rack!

Any update on your setup? I just picked up my Ranger last night and need a solid way to carry the road and gravel bike!
