I found another scratch on it. I'm starting to think someone is vandalizing my truck. I'm furious.

Added the swing case that I got with Ford Pass Points. Almost conflicts withe the hold down on the Xtang trifold bed cover. I have to swing the case out to latch or unlatch the cover, but it works.

How did you manage to use your Ford Pass points to get that?

Tinted the front windows to match the rear and installed the MagnaFlow Cat Back Black exhaust system.
What % did you go on the windows to make them match? This is on my list when the weather warms up.

The dealer that I purchased my truck from said I could not use them for parts or accessories. Two other dealers in town said no problem. I went to one of them and they ordered it. They said it was just a matter of how they did the paper work. I didn't ask too many questions.

Hell, I'm still waiting for my FordPass points to start showing up...
Ask the dealer to check your account..if you go to the service department they should be able to tell you your points available.

Even though my app says zero?
Don’t know, mine was not on the app. They sent me a card with a code, which They scanned when I went for my first service, but they said I didn’t need it as the points came up when they put my name in..my ford pass rewards didn’t show till after I had it serviced..
Regards

Hi Folks,

Found the bed power connector...now to figure out how the dummy plug disconnects... didn't want to budge...

That the one in the middle toward the tailgate on the cross member? Ya ain't kidding. A biotch to get off. I gave up and went different route.

Did the muffler delete yesterday.

Still too soon to determine if there's a performance benefit.

Definitely a bit louder but not too obnoxious.

After it gets subjected to the unknowing Wife test (She doesn't know I had it modified. Take her for a ride and see if she comments on the noise) will determine if it gets a Magnaflow or not.

Phil, If this is the one you are referring to, push in where the green arrow is to release a small latch tab that is under where the yellow arrow is.
If that's not the one I apologize.

HI Gregg,

This is the exact connector! I have to deal with my lack of close eye sight due to cataract surgery and I could not see the release mechanism clearly. Thanks so much!

Hi Gregg,

Yep! That is the one. Thanks! :) I can't see close up very well with the cataract surgery and missed that little detail...See the ophthalmologist today and will be discussing options for improving close up vision. Think a trifocal with out any magnification for distance is what I will need but we will see what tricks she has in her Doctor's bag...

Took it to the dealership for a free detailing.

They gave a me an Escape as a loaner. Suffice to say I'm happy I purchased a Ranger and not an Escape.
