Heated Seats?

First thread... I thought the Ranger had heated seats but now I don’t see it anywhere. Can someone confirm?

It’s available on the XLT trim with the 302A package, and the Lariat trim as standard.

XLT 302A is heated cloth seats, the Lariat is heated leather-trimmed seats if that matters to you.

I'm going to get the XLT Ranger I'd love to have heated seats but I don't like the looks of the sport appearance package that you have to get with the 302A

I believe if you select the Chrome package with the 302A package it will override the Sport package. That is an extra $350 on top of the 302A package.

You are right guess I'm picky I don't like that huge chrome front bumper.

I don’t see any buttons for heated seats in any of the interior photos of the lariat Ranger. Is it not controlled the same as other fords?

Yep, should fit most phones just fine.

EDIT: I see what you're talking about in the first picture now - no that's not a slot for a phone. Just the angle it was taken at makes it appear so.

Is it weird that I'd prefer a column mounted shifter over the console located shifter? It just looks so out of place in a truck like you are looking at the interior to a Taurus or something.

If of the old "three on the tree" style , they probably could not offer the sport shift where you can somewhat manually shift your auto tranny.

Actually, I had a 2011 F-150 that had the shift on the column and had select-shift so that you could manually shift gears. It had + and - buttons that were built into the right hand stalk. It wasn't very convenient since they were hidden behind the steering wheel.

Then have toggles on the steering wheel. Shouldn't matter where the actual gear shifter is.

You can manually shift gears in “Sport” mode. You have to move the shifter into “S”, then you use + or - on the shifter to change gears.
