I finally installed my rear Icon reservoir shocks with new bump stops and overload leaf tip pads. Install was simple and quick.

What is the purpose of the leaf tip pads and different bump stops?

Finally got time to install the auto folding mirror controller thanks to a shipment from RCMustang. Works like a charm! I also took the time to install the stubby jr antenna from CravenSpeed and swapped out the stock halogen bulbs for better higher end halogen bulbs. HIDs are coming down the road but for now I just wanted to improve the visibility on the road. Reached out to the dealer this weekend about the missing 2 bed tie downs, they needed to see some paperwork (showed them the ranger pamphlet) and they placed an order for me. Should get them in the coming week or two.

Here is Icon's description for the tip pads...
5. Replace the overload leaf spring contact pads. Pop out the existing rubber tip contact pads located on both ends of the overload
leaf. Press in the supplied low profile tip contact pads. This will allow the overload to engage further into the travel of the suspension,
improving the ride and performance while reducing rear spring kick.

As for the bump stops, I don't really know. They were included, so I installed them. I should note, my factory stops were showing signs of wear already, so I'm happy to have an extra set.

I had my first oil change today at 2775 miles. I went to a local valvoline quick lube and they already knew all about the Ranger. The tech grabbed a couple extensions, a ratchet, and 2 oil filter tools and had the filter changed out in no time. I double checked everything and I'm satisfied with their work. It's expensive but you sit in your vehicle and they're done in 15 minutes. They call out torque specs and have another tech double check their work and physically show you the dipstick level when finished.

Got an Opti-Coat Pro+ Ceramic clear coat done today. Took care of some scratches from a recent off-roading adventure a few weeks ago too. I wish I had a better camera to capture how nice the paint looks now.
