Wipers

Was wondering l, I have a new Lariat model and noticed that the wiper interval seem to not be identical! I didn’t think these were auto sensing wipers but I don’t get the seemingly different intervals which seem to have some correlation to the amount of rain on the window. Am I nuts or is there something going on here?

Thanks for the info. I in fact have the 501a package. Neat. I know I’m not going crazy! I assume that all the notches for adjustments are just there if you want to tamper with the operation?

The notches (tab adjustment) is to very the sensitivity of the rain sensing.

It works great, I had them on medium and the mist we were getting it activated at the right time, in my explorer I noticed it would also increase incriments w/ speed too. There are the 4 positions of the wiper arm as mentioned in the owners manual too.
