I bought this to give it a shot. Similar to a vinyl wrap and is supposed to have minimal effect on light output. I bought the smoke but they also have dark black.

Been watching how to videos made by CK Wraps on YouTube, he makes it look easy but i figure for $20 its worth a shot at trying myself. I'll post pics if it turns out good. Hoping to give it a shot this weekend.

Not sure, but it will probably interfere with you winning any at-fault battles with your insurance company if someone rear ends you.

Sorry it's a tad dirty, I didn't black out the rear tail lights completely. But left the white and only tinted the red slightly. Had it done at a shop, but this might give you an idea of what it looks like being slightly tinted. Definitely a different red from the upper red light above the rear view window. And dont mind my ugly body in the back

I tinted mine. Had to take it off to pass VA safety inspection. Thinking about putting it back on but I'm hoping someone comes out with a rear tail light upgrade.

Our tail lights would have been perfect if they did not go so far onto the sides of the bed. Probably my only real gripe about design on this thing, the tail lights seem way out of proportion with the lines. I don't mind the height of them, just too wide.

Just my random mouth vomit for the day.

I did get mine done. It's tint and I got brighter rear lights to compensate.

Thanks! Took it to a local tint shop. I can’t remember the film they used.

I have used this stuff before. You spray it on as dark as you want it. Works great. $15 at Amazon for a can. One can is enough for many taillights.

VHT night shade in red or black.
