Anybody have a suggestion of a site for wheel packages? Or should I buy separately / locally. Looking for something in a 17 with big rubber (275, 285). I've been studying wheel offset til I can't see straight. Best offset for a small amount of tire poke? I think I'm looking at a +20-25 range. Any suggestions, pictures would be a great help. I've perused this section quite a bit, but just need some convincing. I'm not a fan of the -12 scene. No offense, just not for me. Just looking for something that looks good and beefy, but doesn't rub on everything in sight or throw mud everywhere either. Thanks in advance, all.

There's literally hundreds of options. Make sure you shop for a 2019 Tacoma. You'll find WAY more results. The Ranger has the same bolt pattern but has a smaller hub bore which can be adapted to with hub rings.

We may be a bit bias, but we say Discount Tire Direct

An 8.5-inch wide wheel with +25mm offset should be a great fit for the stance you're after.

I'm with you on the offsets. I'm just starting to look around myself. I won't purchase anything with less than a +12mm offset and would prefer a +20 or +25. Tires sticking out a 1/2" or more past the fenders can create issues such as paint damage from the tires throwing road debris to less feel in the steering from an increased scrub radius.

Thanks for the Tacoma tip @PNW_Ranger87 !

i can relate to your question. I did some searching and looking at tires and offset. I finally settles on 285/70/17 with 17x9 +20 offset and very happy. i have thread in build section with all the details.

tires very quiet and yet look aggressive

Discount Tires are great, two weeks after I purchase the Ranger had a flat tire, side wall was punctured on my brand new Hankook, went to Discount Tires and got a new one paid extra $150 for insurance for all tires. Can I transfer that insurance if I decide to go bigger tires?

Thank you for choosing Discount Tire @BladeRanger!

The Certificates for Refund or Replacement are not transferable, however I'm sure your local store will be willing to work with you.

We'd like to help, PM coming your way.

$1550 for tires, rims, TPMS and they came mounted and balanced with new lug nuts.
Motegi 17x8.5 +18mm offset

Just a slight rub on the front driver's side crash bar(bumper bar), no rub on passenger side.

I ordered wheels straight from Icon and will purchase the tires locally at Discount Tire. I've been going to Discount Tire for my tires exclusively for nearly two decades now. Their customer service is usually top notch, speed of install/service is decent, ability to get the tire you want/need in 1-3 days and prices are competitive.

I'm looking at discount tire Trailfinder all terrain's looks like you can't beat em for the price an I don't haul loads or off road much. The other choice is Nitto Terra Grappler G2. if I go 285-70 I'm looking at the pathfinder AT. There's a discount tire about ten miles away.

Looked at the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3? Best All Terrain tires for years. Had a lot of sets over the years. I want to get rid of these Korean Hankook things. Haven't got around to it yet. Can't believe Ford put a trash brand like these on a effin Ford!
