What is going on at AFE?

Ordered charge pipes from AFE months ago. After several supposed delivery dates came and went as well as not responding to e-mailes I finally sent a message to cancel the order. Days later I get an email saying the are going to mail me a refund check. I get the COVID delay stuff but lying about delivery dates, not responding to messages and mailing a refund check? C'mon.

Unfortunately its not just AFE, its somewhat throughout the industry, many supplied and missed delivery dates. The whole mailing a refund check is def super strange.

And why do they still have them listed for sale on thier website if they have zero intention on getting them to anyone that buys them?

I have never had a problem with anything ordered from Stage 3.

my guess would be they dont have intentions of not selling them or getting them to customers, they are likely just having trouble getting them in a reasonable amount of time, its not uncommon to sell and backorder items not currently available but these are times that we def have not seen before.

I get that, but why would a company refuse to communicate with it's customers? I was in no hurry to get the item but without responding I lost faith. They did oviously get the email about cancelling because they are mailing the refund. I only wanted an update.

I ordered my Addictive Desert Designs bumper in April. Still dont have it. Hoping for July, but who knows.

The company I ordered my rock sliders from quoted me a 12 week lead time. Thats how long I waited for my truck after placing the order, lol.

unfortunately things are all over the place right now, but very product dependent, like the charge pipes I dont have an exact eta, but the downpipes I have 11 in stock at the moment.

This is what happens when you shut down the nation.

The amount of information stored in the price of a simple tomato is astounding. Shut it all down for a year and here you go. Everybody has forgotten how to operate.

I couldn't care less about some modification that I don't NEED being unavailable. I'm more concerned about "what of my truck breaks and they have no parts."

You think some charge popes being unavailable is a pain? Just wait, we've only seen the beginning.
