Is anybody else having this problem?? I have little to no airflow out of the vents if I combine the bottom and middle vents. But a lot of airflow If I do one or the other. I’m not having any other hvac problems besides the passenger vents get a lot colder air than the driver vents
Mine have always been like that. I figured that it is the natural result of dividing up the airflow and so getting less from more vents. The Ranger's air conditioning is adequate most of the time, but you have to crank it to get relief on hot days. In short, not bad but not great...

Same here shitty design. I feel like there is some kind of flap blocking airflow

i have the same problem but mine literally "screams" from the back of the dash when on panel and foot. something isn't aligned or there's a blockage or something. i would pay MORE money for a less "sophisticated" hvac system. 3 dials has never failed me motors in an hvac is beyond stupid

I have the same problem, pressure to both upper and lower together feels like less than 50% of pressure directed to just one. The worst is turning it to max fan when on both, it starts dumping a bunch of air on the dash and actually decreases the flow from one lower setting. Sounds like it’s a systemic problem rather than unique to my truck. Sucks because that means it can’t be fixed.

If this is happening on the driver's side it is likely the failed blend door on pre 2022 models.

no problems with mine getting weird. at least not since I had the blend door fix earlier this year.

I get good, cold air and it pushes a good bit of it. I couldn't tell you about whether the face or feet get more. but the only time my hvac has been insufficient has been when the blend door failed.
