Needs change. 4x4 is a must up here in Idaho especially if you plan on any time in the mountains. Where you're at I can see not needing it. Even in town when there's a good snowfall the 4x4 gets me out of some sticky spots that would require chains without it. Finding a 2WD is rare around here.I will tell ya'll this, the more that time moves on, the more I find out just how much like my Dad and my late Grandpa that I am. I have a 4wd truck that I rarely use 4wd in. Most of the time it's On road not off road. The next truck will be a 6G Ranger STX or XLT 2wd blue with an elocker, trailer hitch, running boards, and mud flaps on the build sheet. I'm a 2wd guy, that's the truth.
