Well on my way to picking up a 2022 XL SCAB STX Special Edition.

Up in the Northeast so dealer is offering Valugard undercoating for $599.

Couldn't find too much online about it so was curious what everyone thinks.

Is this some good quality stuff that will last or should I be looking for something else?

Thank you!

Oil type undercoating okay. Apply once a year.
Asphaltic or rubberized just hide the rust until it's really bad. At least in the salt belt.
No comment on the price.

I have used Krown for the past two vehicles. !st vehicle I had for 7 years, and no rust anywhere. And parked outside all winter. (Eastern Canada). My 21 Ranger costs me 150.00 locked in each year and they also will do a salt remover if wanted each year. Separate cost of course. No problems yet.

I had a new shop that just opened do mine with one of the oil/wax type coatings.

I think it was a great price. $150 for the first coat an guaranteed $50 retreat for the next 3 winters.
