We spent last week at Yellowstone National Park. At higher altitude locales out west, you can get 85 octane fuel. We were getting 31 MPG during out stay, which included multiple up and down grades. I attribute most of that to the fact that speeds were mostly 35 to 45 MPH, but still quite impressive considering the terrain we were driving through, mostly in "sport" mode.

As Doc said. Here is what the manual states about Fuel:

That list of exclusions is to absolve Ford of liability when engine failures occur that can be fuel related.

E10 vs. E15 vs. E30-an oddball blend- I'd be pretty confident isn't going to be problematic. When the ethanol becomes more than a third of the fuel it would seem specific sensors and software are going to be mandatory.
