2019 Ranger 125k miles. When braking I feel an uneven grabbing of brakes. Doesn't seem to happen all the time and only at certain speeds. The truck actually stops fine but shakes some until I lift. It is not a violent shaking. Any ideas?

125K miles!?!? Where have you been? I thought I had the most miles at 118K lol...

Have you serviced your pads/rotors yet? If not, you've probably ran out of pads on one or more of your brakes...shaking from metal to metal contact...

Sounds like you have warped rotors for starters. If they've overheated, you may have a caliper that sticking. If you're comfortable diagnosing, I would put the truck on jack stands and see if all 4 wheels spin freely when in neutral and no brakes are applied. You'd have to step on the brakes and test the spinning a bunch of times to see if you have a sticking caliper.

If you are not comfortable with diagnosing, I would take it to a shop and have them look at it. I would say, at a minimum, you're looking at pads and rotors. Maybe even calipers.

Are you feeling inadequate now that you don't hold the highest mileage record? You're still special to us.

Whew...pressures off...?

Actually, I've been intentionally slowing down...if I'd kept up the same pace as my first year I'd be over 150K by now...$3/gallon doesn't go as far as $1.80...hmmm...what changed?
