Hi. Thank you for accepting me.
I have a Ranger Wildtrak 2020.
I want to change the dipped beam bulbs that are currently D8S HID 25W 3000K.
These do not provide enough light output and are the wrong colour for my old eyes!
I have purchased D8S LED 6000K upgrades, which are a straight swap whilst using the existing ballast.
But really struggling to get the original D8S bulbs out as access to the bulbs is very tight both behind the headlight unit and around the bulb itself, and they don't simply twist lock out.
I am not talking about the dust covers as have no problem getting those off. I am talking about the actual bulbs.
Currently the only way I can see to do this job is to removed the headlights to get access, but this is a big job as to get the headlights out, involves removing the whole front of the vehicle.
Any ideas?
