I recently went through a similar experience with mine, though not to the extreme of 10 ounces, mine were only requiring 4 on 1 wheel at the first tire shop and it still shook.
I took it somewhere else, and they said it was "unbalancable" and recommended i contact the seller i bought them from online. I did, and they sent me to discount tire to have them checked and road balanced before they would look into replacement.
At discount tire it took quite a bit of clocking the tire on the wheel and more than 1 spin on the road force balancer before they finally got it smooth with less than 2 ounces on the heaviest wheel and a "road force" of 22 on that one.
Sometimes it's just a bad combo of wheel and tire, and sometimes it's just a bad tire.
I will say this, I wish I would have went to discount tire at first, they took care of me when the first 2 shops didn't seem to know what they were doing. The original shop didn't even have the lug nuts all tight. It pays to deal with quality people and after this i will more than likely always use discount.
Good luck on getting it figured out.
