drove the ranger up to the top of whitetop mountain in virginia this weekend. The road up is a gravel single/double track that curvey and steep in many places. there are a lot of trails that run off of the main road but they had mud so i avoided..lol. but i walked them, nothing the ranger could not do. saw a taco coming up while we were heading down and i chatted with him for a bit as i had one. he digged the ranger. the ranger did great up and down in sport mode 1st/2nd gear. went "off road" a couple time on more bumpy areas and it was like nothing to it. you could tell the ranger wanted more. anyhow, i know this post isn't about a super offroad adventure but i will say also that the bug sheild i added along with the rokblokz, kept the windshield and side panels clean of road stuff and chips.
