So this means the Tremor wheel sticks out more than the standard wheel which has a +55 offset, correct?

Yes, 13mm more, or about 1/2". That is news to me. I thought it was a +55 offset. Also didn't realize the Tremor wheels were 8" wide vs the 8.5" of the Raptor wheels. I thought they were the same wheel.

I would love a set of these to replace my 18" black wheels.

Yep, I thought they were both +55mm. Now I'm trying to understand the weight of the different rims as I decide which direction I go between rims and tires. These are the 18's that came on my 22 Lariat which seem to be rare on the Ranger. I'd like to find out their weight.

Looking to see if anyone has the ground truth on how much this type of wheel weighs. I have reached out to a dealership but could not get an answer (apparently not listed in the website). There was also a mention on the boards a while back of the 17x8 Tremor wheel weighing 25 lbs., but if I remember correctly that was just some extrapolation based on the total wheel/tire package weight. That was the only reference I could find.

That said, if some has weighed this wheel (or possibly be willing to weigh this wheel--perhaps a takeoff that is waiting to be sold) and could post the results here, that would be much appreciated.

Hopefully I'm getting some KO2s installed today or tomorrow (265/70/r17), the weight of the rim came to 25.5 lbs.

Can you post the full wheel view of this? I just want to make sure it's the same rim I'm thinking of with 42mm offset.

I just put a set of Tremor takeoffs on my FX4 this past weekend. Sorry, I didn't think of weighing them. From lifting the Tremor wheels with the General tires into the bed, I can tell you that they were heavier than the stock 18" wheels and Hankook's that came with my Ranger.

Do you notice the added weight when driving?

I've been looking at aftermarket rims and tires. Both add weight so I was curious about the weight of stock tremor wheels. Seems the rims are quite a bit lighter than even the lightest aftermarket rims, which I've seen to be around 27 lbs, give or take, but generally, most are quite a bit heavier. General's aren't the lightest tire so if I went with a Tremor rim and one of the lighter tires - Toyo and a few others, I can keep the tire weight in the low 40's for a combined weight in the range of 67-70 lbs which is pretty respectable. Glad I know the Tremor rim weight now, but yes, Hankook's at 35 lbs is about as light as it gets for tires so I'd be adding roughly 7 lbs of unsprung mass.

I'm going from the 18 inch rims with the hankook (66lbs) to tremor rims and 265/70/17 ko2 for a total of 71 lbs. Hopefully it all works out with getting the new tires today. ?
