Tremor drive line

Can anyone confirm if the tremor driveline is different in any way compared to the other rangers. Going through some threads I’ve read the tremor has a cv on rear most position instead of universal joint. Is this true and what is the reasoning? Pros or cons?

Yes, CV joint looking connection. I was meaning to compare after hearing about that as well. Sure enough, it is different. I would assume it handles higher speed articulation a lot better than a normal u-joint perhaps? Or maybe it fixes some of that acceleration stutter I have seen mentioned in forums. All I know is she drives great on and off road.

I wonder what other easter eggs there may be with the Tremor. The geometry in the front was mentioned as well but no hard data other than some reviewers saying it.
