Tremor diff cover different

Was looking at Ford performance site and noticed they sell a diff cover for 19-21 rangers. Then saw that it will not fit the tremor. So why does the tremor have a different diff and what are the differences? Besides the suspension upgrades I think there are some differences with the drive shaft also at the rear. Just trying to get all differences besides suspension/tires/badging/interior.

Does the Tremor have a different gearset that doesn't quite fit under the cover? Or is this a case of them not being bothered to confirm fitment?

It probably has more to do with the electronic locker. Probably is same rear diff that is used on bronco.

I have a tremor xlt and it has same gearing as far as I know. Also there are lockers on non tremors so I would think they are the same. It may be what he up yonder said, maybe just haven’t bothered to confirm the fit on a tremor.

A regular Ranger FX4, a Tremor, a Bronco, and a jeep Rubicon all have the M 200 (I think?) Dana 44 rear axle

Who has the underside / rear end pic of a Tremor? Let's see if it is bolts or other hardware attached. Thinking something suspension related?

Ok...

Electrical connector is the same on the right side, but the top left bolts are studs with nuts (10' & 11' o'clock). I have bolts all around except for the brake line stud/holders.

Wonder what those two are holding on to?

Hmmm... Need another pic. Maybe from and back of the drivers side?

Comparing the two photos further... If there is a bar or whatever that bracket is that spans the two studs, maybe a redesign on the brake line distro?

It won't make the span on the FP cover as there is a strength ridge that disects the two studs.

Would be nice to know every single difference the tremor has. May be tricky when ordering things like drive shaft components as they are different. And it may be a 1-2 year model only as the 2023 ranger is the redesign. That’s if they have the 2022 tremors

It is strange because there is no difference in the drivetrain on the Tremor package. Seems like it's related to having to route those lines differently due to the rear suspension being different? That being said, it appears the actual covers are interchangeable - you'd just have to rig a fastener for those lines, which I don't think would be too hard.
