Is there a way to have 10th gear hold longer, say down to arouns 40mph vs. 55 mph?
Also skip gears upon acceleration eg start at second and skip to 4th then to 6th?
Thanks everybody!!

I guess my first question has to be, WHY?. What are you trying to solve? It already skips 3rd in drive.

Mine shifts so smooth that unless I have the gear display pulled up I don't know what gear it is in. And why would you want to be in 10th gear at 40 mph, talk about lugging. Most people complain it upshifts too fast now.

To answer your question, I'm sure a tuner could adjust the shift table to do that for you. I'm also pretty sure they would try to talk you out of it.

Just give it a minute and all that will happen whether you like it or not, :like:?
OP's good for another 67K miles, according to my calculation...

How about Tractor Supply or Harley joke?
That list grows longer by the week, it seems, as companies/universities/local governments begin to see the error in the woke/DEI thinking.

That is true. As usual I am a day late and a dollar short. Story if my life.

10th at 40mph? On my PU, 75mph in 10th turns right at 2,000 RPM. 10th at 40 you will be turning less than 1100 RPM, with no power.

Most of the time mine won't drop onto 10th until 48-49 mph, but will stay there til 47mph when it drops back to 9th if I'm on a flat, or 8th if there's a wee bit of incline.

IIRC corectly 7th gear has a 1:1 ratio, 8th, 9th and 10th are all overdrive. Gotta lug it
