Does anyone know why sometimes I get traffic updates and most of the times don't?

The traffic updates on the Ford Nav system have always been hit/miss for me. Even when using the Sync4 system (rental/loaner cars) it's not consistent and has to be initiated to update manually. I ended up giving up on it and switched to Wayze via Android Auto when I need live traffic updates on GPS.

It's been pretty stable for me now that I'm on 3.4.21194. Wasn't on the previous 20xxx versions though.
