I believe that's incorrect. You can search for some other threads here on TMPS relearning. It is possible the 2019s were different than newer models though.

My 2021 will automatically relearn new positions.

Agree on the 2021...had my rotation done yesterday by Discount Tire...I keep a bit more psi in the rears (45) when I tow, and 40 in the front...after the rotation my Lariat dash showed 45 on the front and 40 on the rear (4 tire rotation). So I know mine "relearns" the position of each sensor.

To get specific on this: Let's look at the As-Built data line for the BCM

TPMS: Auto-Learn
726-40-02 - we should have this as the Hex-Data code for all ranger trims
0101-0201-0175

xxxx-xxx1-xxxx = Auto Learn (if this is 0 = Auto Learn is disabled)

xxxx-xxxx-x1xx = Auto Locate (if this is 0 = Auto Locate is disabled)

and

726-40-01 (if your tire pressure placard) has equal tire pressure Ft & Rear
then the Hex-Data code is this
0104-2323-01BA
If your Ft & Rear are not equal the Hex-Data Code is this:
0104-1E1E-01BO

but the important one in this line is.
TPMS - Reassignment
xxxx-xxxx-x1xx (if this is 0 = Then reassignment is disabled)

I know you prefer to use the asbuilt HEX codes but all these settings and a couple more are available using the BCM configuration menus. You can even change your placard values if you run different front to back or different than default.

There is also a setting in the IPC Menu that I believe will also display you placard values along with actuals. I have to test this out.

This is true, but unless I am hooked up and have Forscan Running, I do not know what Forscan has as far as programming changes - Line by Line - Easy Way
and yes, I also have my (Placard Display) included in my IPC screen

I find it easier to visually view the breakdown of the Hex-Codes and know what I want to change or what specific lines - alter the change I am seeking.

Basically, without hooking up and viewing the Easy - Files

I use this website; it is not Ranger Specific but from what I have compared they pretty much match the Ranger and I have various As-Bult database compares on an Excell Spreadsheet all trims

A WORD OF CAUTION:

DO NOT CLICK ON DOWNLOAD or OPEN, on anything on that site - it will load adware and it was a PITA to remove.

Example - Click View Database - Then at that point a popup will appear, either click the (X) in the top right corner or click close on the popup and then you can view the database safely.

Ask me how I know, I made that mistake once and only once, spent over an hour removing the adware it was a web browser type of adware that had a ton of extra crap.

Granted this is Cyanlabs - The website praised for its ease of our Sync and Map updates, so its not the website itself it's the ads supporting the site.

There is lots of highly detailed info from those, the only elusive module is the PCM, you just cannot be half asleep and click in that website. - Be slow and it's all good.
