This is the only pic I can find showing the ramp. Tires do not get wet. Boat is 25ft express.
I did test drive the ranger today. Liked it, but I think I'm going to err on the side of the larger truck.

I wouldn't be one bit worried about pulling that boat the short distance you have. I bet it would easily pull it out of the water too. If 4 wheel drive doesn't do the trick, just put it in 4 low and send it. Just my opinion, as the Ranger is extremely capable and very torquey, especially when tuned.

I'm pretty sure the Ranger would be fine.

But after driving a couple of them, I decided to stick with the F-150 platform and ordered a lariat powerboost and keep my current F150 for my son. That said, I'd really like to have a lariat ranger one of these days. I like the smaller footprint for daily driver duty.
