Towing is 7,500 lbs (with tow package) across the board. Payload is different based on options.

tow package is different than bumper tow with a ball only.

I was saying that you sure wouldn't pull as much w/ a bumper pull set up like in this attached picture compared to the tow package set up.
The dealer can easily add it.
Nobody that I have seen on R5G has yet indicated that they or a dealer has added a controller to a Ranger. Lot of talk no detail. I will provide you my dealers contact so you can provide directions as he would not add it to my purchase price because he said that he can find no information as yet how it is done.
Lloyd, as you can see from djrobb's question, he was asking if the perfect vehicle he finds doesn't have a tow package, can the dealer add it and my answer was and still is YES the dealer can easily add it. I wasn't talking about the controller as that accessory hasn't been released yet so there are no dealers that can add it as a 2019 Ford Ranger accessory.
