Torque Converter Shutter

Just got back from the dealership where they stated I had a torque converter shutter and what seems to be a neutral stall. Truck hesitates from stop to engage the transmission and then it finds a gear and goes. Quoted $8,800 for new transmission replacement and it would take about a month at the dealership. 2019 Ranger with 76,000 miles. If only this happened 16,000 miles ago, it would have been covered under warranty. ?

Nicely contact Ford , lots of service bulletins and known issues , they should/may help...

I have. My case was assigned to a customer experience specialist so we will see how that goes

Always start out nice , praise Ford , especially the Lightning (trust me , they /need/want that) talk like you may even buy a Lightning, hell WILL BUY one !?...ehhh, depending on how the Ranger is treated ...
Seriously though , they should offer something, if things go bad , reference this forum...

A long, long, longggggggggg two months later, Ford is covering 40% of the cost of a new transmission. Ready to have my truck back
