hey guys - the last few trucks I have had all had bakflips or hard tonneau covers on them, so it has been a while since I looked at toppers. The one I liked the most after perusing this site and others was the ARE Overland, but below is the quote I got ($3100). Taxes would be about another $230, plus shipping. Am I in the right ballpark price wise, and if not what would you rec? the most I could see weight wise would be about 160 pound kayak. thanks in advance for your recommendations. I have looked at a folding tonneau cover with rack, but those have gotten pricey as well. Ithrew a picture of a white F150 with the ARE overland topper on it - i think the black outline on the topper breaks up the all white look nicely.

Also, side note, that's a pretty darn heavy kayak. My 14' kayak is only about 50lbs max, probably a bit less. But either way, I wouldn't be worried about throwing that up on the roof of the topper. Overland model or otherwise.
current kayak fleet consists of 2 Hobie outbacks, @85 lbs each, and a pro angler @ 14 ft @ 150 lbs.
We fish a lot, or at least the boys do. Thanks for the input.

Not sure if you pulled the trigger yet, but skip the overland and get the CX Classic (it is the same as the overland, just minus the bed liner on the cap sides).

You will save money here, I went with a CX Classic, fully loaded for 2400, and got the internal carpet liner for free with the A.R.E Promotion they are running.

go that route and save the extra cash. worst case if you want the bed liner on the sides of your cap, just roll it on yourself
