Looking to purchase a new 5G and have it shipped from IL to TX. Any recommendations on the best auto transport company or most cost effective way of doing this? I tried search function but didn’t find much.

Be careful, if you put your haul up on one of those quote boards, your phone will blow for weeks.

That "submit your info for a quote" goes to a pool or dispatch where many drivers can quote it, or worse yet a broker quotes you, he makes all the money and the driver makes a few hundred bucks.

Any other fixed company like Allied or the owned and operated ones are better but more expensive.

Then there is covered or uncovered trailer option.

Good luck, I have shipped many cars, some went well, some not.

Fitz nailed it. Unfortunately “the best” and “cost effective” won’t run together in the auto transport sector.

DEFINITELY spoof a google phone number before you reach out to a broker if you do.

I also think you should fly and drive but that’s just me. It’s a really fun way to take ownership of a new vehicle.

But just so I don’t leave the thread without giving you what you asked for - I think the best out there is Intercity Lines
