Today's run to Holy Jim Canyon in Trabuco Canyon, Cyber Orange County

Today I went with a Friend in his Avalanche Z71 up to the end of Holy Jim Canyon in moderate rain. Nothing required 4x4, but had not been there in decades and forgot how pretty.

Rain started coming down pretty hard on the way out!

I've been down there a few times since it opened back up. People are already treating it like crap, I think it's just a matter of time before we see more closures again. I hope not, being just around the corner it's convenient and it's super gorgeous.

HA! We were in your back yard! Glad to see the RC planes are still flying there! (not today though!)

A lot of the ram shack houses there 20 years ago have disappeared...

Wanna plan my trails in Anza when I am there over Thanksgiving.

You really were! I've never seen them flying but drive by relatively regularly.

We've got a small group making a trip to Anza the 12-14th. Been here over a year and a half and still haven't made it yet.

Been to Anza Borrego/Truckhaven many times. Great variety of trails and open camping areas!

I might try! I'll be out in Mammoth that weekend and I'm not sure if I'll have free time from work that week. If I don't, hope it's a good trip!
