Throttle Body Cleaning

Well decided to do some maintenance on my wife’s Expedition today. 80k miles and TB is front and center on it. Little carbon but not bad. Got me thinking, I never did the ranger.

Almost 144k today. Back of throttle plate was black. Took a bit to clean it but after that and the relearn it drives great. Very snappy throttle response. Well worth a look if you haven’t yet.

Yes probably 30 minutes beginning to end. But i have aftermarket intercooler pipes. Not sure if that makes it easier. Also cleaned the Air intake sensor on the rear part of the intake. It was caked in carbon and nasties. This is what I get for reading up on 3.5 maintenance. Gives me ideas for my truck too.
