Thread pitch/bolt size

Try as I might, I've been unsuccessful at finding what size bolt and thread pitch these holes are (see photo) I know they are metric but the actual size eludes me. I'd like to get them cleared out of the spray-in bed liner before ordering the swing out

storage box. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sad that the simple task of plugging them before the liner sprayed in wasnt done.

Im pretty sure the size has been mentioned in other posts.

I tried searching but am either looking for the wrong thing or just not smart enough to use the search function effectively. And yes, I was a little bit annoyed that they didn't plug them before spraying. Even stuffing foam earplugs in the holes would've been better than nothing.

Per another thread on here they are M6 bolts and you use an M6 x 1.00 tap to clear them out.

I used the M8 x 1.25 tap to clear out the holes for the middle tie down brackets and the forward holes for my tonneau cover.

the swing boxes come with the screws so you can measure them (with a die)
to be certain

M6 x1.0 tap to chase them out. Just had to do that on mine, after finding the damn holes in the first place.

The threads are 8M 1.25 tap and drill at Lowes about 8 bucks i think just did mine was cross threaded worked fine. I think the brand was Easton came together.

the cargo tie down spots are different (those are M8). had to clean those out, too, when I put the middle tie down in.

Stand corrected good to know thought they where same !

Thanks for all the input they are in fact 6mm x 1 bolt holes. I ran a starter tap through them this afternoon and I'm good to go now.
