That’s why vinyl kicks ass or whatever the material is on work trucks. At my old job we had a pig of an F-250 and I LOVED it. The seats were all that durable synthetic material and the floors were rubber. I would get all my trucks like that if it were an option.

I got the STX package on my F150 and I have the rubber floors. If I could have paired that with the work truck like Seats I would have. Ditto for if I purchase the Ranger.
Vinyl's all good until you hop in on a 100 degree day with shorts on... ? ?

Very true.Or below zero nights. I went from the one of the coldest environments in the United States to the hottest (North East to the South West) and I would still take them.

That material is very durable, seems to hold up to abuse well it’s a breeze to clean.

On a side note. Maybe look into a good seat protector. I did the same for my F-150 because of all the miles I drive. I took the cover off recently to readjust and it looks brand new. I know it probably wouldn’t have made a difference for the crease, but it’s still a good idea if you plan on keeping it long term.

During routine service today at my dealer, they looked at the seat and determined this is indeed a defect which will be repaired under warranty.
I think all of my warranties are expired ?

I didn't bother to make a fuss as the replacement would probably do the same...however, now that I'm past 65k, the wrinkle has remained the same and not gotten worse...
Once I turned 65 I stopped worrying about wrinkles. It’s all downhill from here buddy…
What you mean is...It conformed to your butt crack...now you just have a "seat wedgie"....

18,000 miles and my driver's seat is showing creases...

Anyone else notice this on their XLT cloth seat? Heavy noticable lifting on the seat and creases on the outer bolster from entry/egress...WTF:curse:
The seat bottom is from butt pucker, not sure about the sides.

Dealer replaced seat cover under warranty and even picked up the cost of my rental car. Looks good.

Every post-2015 Ford I've ever owned or been exposed to had horrible seat bottom longevity. My $46K Mustang's seats looked like garbage after only 20K miles. The (not really) leather was shaving off at the seams in the middle of the seat, it was stretched so much it was like there was air bubbles. Just terrible. Not to mention everyone I knew with cloth seats in the Mustang... even worse and after a while, dead flat and hard. Anyway, I made the dealer replace my driver seat after a huge fight about it and filing cases with Ford. By the time I hit 38K (at which point the vehicle was totaled thanks to a person driving loopy on prescription pain drugs), the new seat was wearing the same.

Meanwhile, my 2012 Toyota Camry had 120K miles and the seats looked almost brand new.
Meanwhile, my 2019 Jetta with 32K miles and cloth seats looked tip top when I sold it last weekend.
