Just picked up a Super Pacific camper for my 2020 Ranger. The third brake light on the camper does not come connected with the instal at the factory and I'm hoping someone has sourced a harness or pigtail that can be plugged into the factory tailight wiring and then run up to activiate the light.

If you have the factory installed 4 & 7 prong trailer plug, you can easily pop the assembly out of the bumper, unwrap the harness to expose the wiring and solder in your own harness for your camper. I added an additional 4 prong connector to my harness to power the light bar that I added below the tailgate.

I don't know about the wiring, but when I see trucks like yours I wish I would have bought an SCAB.
Biased of course but I prefer the look of the SCABs as well and wanted the longer bed. No kids so I did a seat delete in the rear and am fabricating a "Goose Gear" inspired platform for totes.

How does this supply a steady voltage for brake light when turn signal is activated ?
You have to use a light bar that has 4 wires. Tail lamp, right turn, left turn & ground. Using the 4 prong plug will not work for you if you are just adding a brake light. If you go that route and have BLIS, your vehicle thinks you have a trailer plugged in and you have to set the trailer length to 3 ft. in order to keep BLIS functional.

hey there, just put down a deposit on a Super Pacific for my 2019 Ranger and was wondering if you got the brake light wiring worked out for yours. Any help is appreciated!

also, has anyone seen the Gatekeeper product from Mountain Yotas that keys in the handle locks to your truck’s fob? It’s made for Tacomas and kitted to include a tailgate lock actuator…but the Ranger tailgate locks are already keyed to the trucks locks…so I’m planning to get a kit and try to just tie the camper lock actuators into the trucks’ door lock power source. Curious if anyone has already done this.
Thanks!
