Not a boomer but damn do I miss basic radios like this.

My favorite was the basic delphi radios in GM trucks/suvs from mid 90s to early 2000s.

Before "headunits" became a thing.

Man I'm such an internal boomer...
It's perfectly OK to like simple stuff that just works. No one's gonna throw rocks at you for that.
Hopefully.

We'll take you as an Honorary Boomer! =)

Back before we had too many pics that you never look at, when days of film were here and you never got those pics you wish you now had, I would shove a small boom box between my homemade rollbar and the head liner in the FJ40. It only had one speaker and I'd slide it out to change the one cassette in it, but it worked great! =)

I swear to God, this is exactly the one I had! =)

Wow, AM and FM! And it was easily removable to take with you. You had it all. I had to park with my truck open, so I could hear my 8-track off the back of my rear speakers.?

I got this in my garage, waiting to have a house of our own before I hang it up somewhere.

Be a fun garage decor.

A bunch of kids.... I had cars that had AM only and you had to wait for the tubes to warm up before listening. I was happy when transistors made it into car radios...
