Well that was close!

We were walking tonight like we always do after the sun goes down and I almost stepped on this guy. At first I wasn't sure if it was a rattler (Annie had the flashlight and was shining it all over the place as usual. lol) but sure enough it was. He was stretched out flat and right as I was taking the picture he started to curl up.

Nope, nope, nope to the "nope rope!" 45 Colt with bird shot. Just sayin'!!

Okay class lol. Time for a little ROADKILL history lesson.
This is the ROADKILL 71 Pontiac T37 that I mentioned in another thread. Freiburger and Finnegan rescued this car from a junkyard in Idaho called L&L CLASSICS in S8 E11.

Then it was in one of episode of ROADKILL GARAGE where Freiburger and Dulcich spent a entire episode trying to get the suspension right on it lol. That turned into a debacle.
After that it was in ROADKILL S11 E7 where Freiburger and Dulcich road tripped from New Hampshire to Delaware and in the stop and go traffic in New York ROADKILL struck and it over heated on Broadway in New York city.

Wheels and tire combo on it are AMERICAN Racing Torque Thrust 15x7 front with 235/60R15 tires and 15x8 on the back with 275/60R15 tires.

Here it is puking anti freeze on Broadway lol.

I had a '70 Pontiac LeMans in high school and it was the same body style and all. Mine was a four door, though. Dad and I put a used 400 in it out of a Catalina and then a used Turbo 400 out of another Catalina. Great jalopy for a high school kid!

Mel, you just reminded me. The ROADKILL 71 T37 has a 400ci Pontiac engine with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission.

There ya go!! We had have the drive line shortened since mine originally had a 350 with Turbo 350 behind it. Couple of bargain bin Cherry Bomb glass packs and I felt like a north Idaho Dukes of Hazzard!! Even had the trunk mount CB antenna with an old 7 channel Realistic CB. I was so freakin' cool!! Oh, and don't forget the Kraco Dash Master tape deck and Kraco speakers stuffed on the rear deck under the window!

I remember that episode of Roadkill. They stopped at a restaurant then, Dulcich goes inside and borrowed a pitcher of water from a table to use to fill the radiator. Funny episode. Classic Roadkill.

Here is a picture of a Ford Ranger that looks exactly like my second one looked like. Mine was a 4cyl with an automatic transmission and 2wd, regular cab short bed like this.

My first F150, after having to sell Grandpas Old Blue truck . Looked similar to this one here. It was a 2002 XL regular cab short bed 2wd with the Sport package with a 4.2L V6 engine with an automatic transmission.

Both of them were good, reliable, fun trucks to drive. Zero nanny controls.
My love for the OBS Ford trucks runs deep.
