And then you're out riding and a plastic shopping bag blows up into your pipe and melts and glues itself to the hot metal after all that work....ask me how I know. Before and after. Red (specific grade for brushed texture level) Scotch brite pad 6" x 9" cut down into a 1.5" x 9" strip, and Autosol metal polish.

Well it's going to be safe and clean for a few months... just put it away for the winter in Wisconsin. But at least we did get a warm day or two for me to get out and enjoy the fall colors before I did!And then you're out riding and a plastic shopping bag blows up into your pipe and melts and glues itself to the hot metal after all that work....ask me how I know.

Doing a Bris for a living pays very little, apparently the bris isn't done WV
This is what we have on golf courses over here, at least these were in the rough and not on the green. We went for a walk earlier today and spotted these guys.I guess they wanted to get a few early rounds in before the course got crowded. ?

I don't get it... ?Doing a Bris for a living pays very little,
but the tips are Big !
This course is not far from where we live, my wife works there part time doing the accounts. The kangaroos are always there, sometimes more, sometimes less. I picked up this shot when I was doing a walk through as they wanted someone to take some panorama shots of the greens for their bar. This is what we have on golf courses over here, at least these were in the rough and not on the green.![]()
Back in tyhe 1970's I used to own a Kawasaki 500 triple, it used to really piss me off that two stroke oil used to leak from around the exhaust flanges and bake onto the pipes. I tried everything to stop it, the problem was the pipe seals were hollow copper washers, when you did up the flange they would crush up and seal, - except mostly they didn't.And then you're out riding and a plastic shopping bag blows up into your pipe and melts and glues itself to the hot metal after all that work....ask me how I know.

I've been looking for a good balaclava that will fit under my helmet. I've got some nice neck gaiters, a skull cap that fits well under my helmet, and a nice warm balaclava for riding when it's down below 0F (which is most of the winter). But it'd be nice to have a lighter one for those times between 0F and +20F. That's the range when my skull cap and neck gaiter aren't warm enough, but my thicker balaclava is too warm and I get sweaty under it, which isn't good when you stop to take a break and it's +10F.
And if you're a non damper owner, its as easy as this:![]()
Found a use for them after all!
