I am new to this Grandpa gig, as the first grandkid just turned 20 months. He was spending the night with us, and he spied me checking the tire air pressure for the Ranger. I showed him how the valve stem cap screwed off and on as I finished the 3rd tire. Repeated it on the 4th tire and asked him to hold the cap. Well that lasted about 10 seconds as he carefully set the cap on the ground and walked back over to my wife.
This morning my wife drove him over to the other Grandparents house. She got him out of the car seat and as they started walking towards their house, he stopped and began removing the valve stem cap from one of the tires on her Forester.
Maybe he knew there is a tire pressure gauge in the glove box?
