I have searched the forums, but have not seen too much detail around the install of the SP9100 into the Rangers. If I missed it, please point me to the thread(s). Anyone have detailed memories of how you installed yours? What accessories did you connect and how was the process for tapping into the fuses under the hood, determining wiring & switch positions for your lights? Any advice you have for a rookie?
I am in the research phase here about doing my electrical for aux lights and am pretty sold on the Switch-pro given the relative ease compared to building my own relay box. I am a complete newb on this subject, was going to go with Lightforce, but the Switch-pro seems great for future-proofing future add-ones. I won’t ever have a crazy amount of extras.
Still don’t fully comprehend how to ID which wires on the SP to use for each accessory and why, which fuses to tap into etc. Re-reading a ton of posts on hear about general wiring and researching, but any advice is much appreciated!
If curious, the impetus is that I am tired of my Rigid spots in the fog position. They are great, but I miss road-legal fogs, so swapping with SAEs and want to move some spots up into the front bumper slot. Also want to add the Baja Designs reverse lights and maybe some A-pillars as well. Having the SP would make any future adds easier as well, such as on-demand air or other lights etc.
