So I lied, that didn't exactly work out.

However, after more prototyping, and another complete roll of filament, I have a working model. This guy just clips into place over the 12v ports and stays secured there, to remove its a simple pull and it pops right off.

I would like to test it out on another truck to make sure it fits elsewhere. Anyone willing to test it out? You can keep it afterwards.

I would love to comment, but I do not personally have one installed.

I also stumbled upon a similar product with a nicer fit and finish than some of the ETSY sellers.

Alternatively, there is always the route of an auxiliary/upfitter switch panel with relay box (like this Auxbeam setup). I plan to install ditch lights and a light bar behind the grill in the coming months with a relay box setup. Something like this would be closer to the factory Tremor trim and save you the trouble of pulling multiple sets of wires through your firewall and dash.
