Had the dealer remove the rear seat headrest while in for my 1st service . Not only improves vision, but would make it easier
to put a childs seat back there if needed. Kinda of a useless piece back there anyway. Couldn't clean the glass with those headrest in the way.
Now if I could find a automatic sliding back glass,I would be in business.

I hope they didnt charge you for this.
No... they did not . If there was a charge,I would have done it myself. But while it was there .... I figured they knew more about it than me. I do have some handicap issues.

Of course they didnt...they overcharge on services to cover it.

I hope though, you make the headrest available to anyone who sits back there and requires it. Proper head protection is more important than you cleaning a window
It's a supercab ,not a crewcab. Only person that could fit back there is a kid. I dont have any kids or grandkids. I'm the only person in the truck,99.9% of the time. I would never let someone in the backseat unless its and emergency . If I had ordered the truck,I would have deleted the back seat. The service didn't cost me anything out of my pocket. They just took it from the Ford Pass points.

There is a button on my rear headrests but dang if I can’t make them go up or down! Anyone else have this issue?

There's a button on each post. Did you push them both in?

I leave them in place...push the side button and they go horizontal for when you don't have passenger and need better rear vision. No need to remove.

That appears to be true for a 2019 super crew, but not for a 2020 super crew. and it doesn't appear to have ever been on the super cabs (like mine). At least according to the 2019 and 2020 owner's manuals. I was curious.

I'd love it if the super cabs had folding headrests. The seat backs have a bolt securing them that has to be removed so it can be tilted to remove the headrest.

Pic of "side button" please.

Wonder if that was another Feature Delete for 2020. Mine were never installed by the dealer. They appear to be designed to pivot, but there are no buttons on the headrests.
I do recall that this feature was removed from 2020. Can you still ratchet the head rest down?

Here is the button, if you push in it feels spring loaded like the headrest should adjust but nothing happens.

You have to push the button on the other post as well, and at the same time holding both in, before the headrest will move. It's on the same side as the one you are pressing on, just the other post.
