My 301a packaged 2WD Lariats mirrors heat up when I hit the defrost. I imagine most do unless that was one of those things Ford took out of the build? I don't see it listed in the 'deleted items' thread. I read 302a packages include them and pre-Tremor threads saying 'only' Lariats with 301a included them so unless you pop off the glass and see the connection I can't be sure. And Canadian trucks may have different standard requirements. See this guy take the mirror out of his Tremor:
It definitely could be...usually the window sticker will reference mirror glass / heat....mine definitely did not come with heated mirrors....but I do have rear slider window with defrost....it's such a disappointment....even the 6g ranger coming as far as I know heated mirrors are only available on lariat
It takes a minute for the heat on mine to be felt on my palm. No graphic on the glass to indicate heat like on my other cars that did. There is confusing information out there and Ford's mishmash of build features doesn't clarify things.
