Sub $20K cars, where da at?

This popped up in my YT feed so I watched it. Doesn't really say much we didn't already know, but it was still mildly interesting. It uses the Maverick as an example of the point of the video.

It does also say something about how well the Mav sold compared to the Ranger, which is misleading to the audience of that video because Ford ain't making Rangers in any numbers, and you can't sell what you don't build.

I'll take a Hilux Champ for $13k. Hell I could trade in my Ranger, get a longer lasting truck in return and have money left over for a couple used vehicles on top.

And unlike the Maverick – which looks like a truck – the Champ is a truck.

Thats the one the dude at goodworkstractors has been talking about, I think. He sells tractor attachments, and sometimes used tractors depending on the time you look at his site, he gets into and out of the used market. It's a good site to research tractor attachments if you're looking for that sort of thing. The Hilux has the same control panels that my 1982 corola had.

Something else said in the video that I forgot to mention, was that F150 sales have decreased a tad. Perhaps another reason to not build Rangers, and give people an alternative to the F series.

I think it makes an argument to do what others have said, make the Ranger the Ranger F100. End of problem.

ETA: Oh, and don't make the F100 BIGGER!

Pretty sure he has a few Kei trucks he uses. While similar, not the same.

Ah, then probably not the same controls. The trucks he has looked nearly identical to my corolla.
