We here at Stage 3 have another tire review out on our YouTube Channel, this time looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ. We've had the 35x12.50R17 version on our 2013 Raptor Weekend Warrior Truck for a good while now, and we've managed to use it in all sorts of terrain. Check out the video below. If you want to see more of our tire reviews, take a look at our Tire Review Playlist.
The Baja MTZs do rip out of just about anything, and they along with the stock locker really saved our bacon when the Raptor's IWE solenoid decided to break and leave its 4WD inoperable. Still, these things are loud on-pavement, and they're borderline obnoxious at highway speeds.
They're a great choice for serious off-road builds, but might be a little much for the daily grind.
