So I wanted to change the spark plugs in my 2021 ranger. To gap them properly because being with ford do as long as I have I know they don’t gap them at the factory

it calls for SP578 plugs and now ford has changed them to SP594.
Dose anyone know what the difference is between the 2 types of plugs and why the change.
Thanks for any info and if this has already been brought up sorry but I didn’t find anything on the forums search.

Domt recall where it was mentioned but I believe its a updated design that wont affect performance. As for tapping be very careful as the platinum and iridium plugs are very fragile
