Ok I finally got to drive my Ranger in the snow. It was only 3-4 inches but still got to tester out. I got up early the day after Christmas to snow on the ground. WHY COULD THAT NOT HAPPEN A DAY EARLIER? I guess it's been 18+ years with out snow on Christmas. Any way I drove around the neighborhood and down to the local middle school. Low and behold there was another Ranger parked on the side lot. Way cool so I had to snap a picture. Happy New Year to all the great people of this forum!

Happy New Year Mark!

As much as I dislike the cold and snow I'd like to see how my Ranger does in it. One of these winters we'll take a day trip up to Flagstaff and play around for the day. Then drive back home where it's nice and dry. :sun:

First snow for me and my 21 Ranger FX4. Chain or 4WD conditions. 4WH and snow setting is wonky but I can see why. Slow throttle response and slow casual braking. It could keep rookies as well as seasoned ones out unexpected trouble.

When in pavement mode the throttle response will give you wheel spin unexpectedly and ABS will kick in all unexpectedly. But in the hilly icy conditions it was welcome, didn’t like it at first.

Got AEB shut off warning because of heavy snow. No biggie…

All in all it did a great job even off-road snownuts!!!
